Members of the San Francisco AGO Chapter will start the new year with an Organ Crawl and Used Music Sale. They will meet at Christ Episcopal Church at 10 a.m. where we will begin our Alameda Organ Crawl and tour several area instruments until about noon. They will stop for a great lunch and end at the Hupalo-Repasky Organ Shop for a tour and Used Music Sale. What a great way to spend Martin Luther King Day!
1700 Santa Clara Avenue, Alameda, CA
Michael Moran will give a brief talk about the organ, its history and more, after which folks will have the opportunity to play the two manual neo-baroque Schlicker.
1420 Lafayette Street, Alameda, CA
We will then move two blocks away to see and play the Bosch organ at Terry O’Connor’s church, Immanuel Lutheran.
1109 Chestnut Street, Alameda, CA
Finally we move several blocks to David Howitt’s three manual romantic Schoenstein organ at St Joseph Basilica.
1910 Encinal Avenue, Alameda, CA
Come on over and experience top quality espresso beverages and coffee, housemade pastry and treats, hot breakfast and lunch, sandwiches, salads and a great menu for kids.
We are committed to and will serve you the freshest products available. If it does not meet our standards, we will not serve it. We will serve organic at all times possible. Our coffees are fair trade and organic. We will serve hormone-free dairy only and none of our housemade items will have trans fats, ever. Our to go containers, bags and cups are bio-degradable.

Following lunch, we will take a short (15–20 minute) trip to San Leandro, where we will tour the Hupalo & Repasky Organ shop and have a chance to peruse and purchase used Organ Music from the archives of the SFAGO. It is quite a collection of interesting music and books donated by renown and beloved musicians. A great way to expand your repetoire and support the SFAGO.
